The pub is easily accessed from junction 10 of the M1 - set the sat nav for AL5 2TR if you need help finding us. Parking can be a little tricky, but there are options nearby, including limited free parking (from 11am) on the verges around both sides of the common. If you’re not lucky enough to grab a space here, there’s an NCP Car Park on Amenbury Lane and another at Harpenden Station (AL5 4ST). From the station, it’s less than five minutes’ walk to the pub, via a small alleyway that runs by the side of the Public Halls. You could alternatively opt to park at Waitrose (AL5 2TJ), also less than five minutes’ away - but please note that stays over two and a half hours are charged at £25.
